Virgin Gorda, top to bottom

North Sound and The Baths Tour

Beaches on the way, lunch at Saba Rock or the Bitter End Yacht Club in North Sound, then The Baths before heading home.

Lunch in North Sound, The Baths on the way back

Virgin Gorda is the whole day. We stop at beaches on the run out, then head into North Sound for lunch at Saba Rock or the Bitter End Yacht Club, two of the best-known stops in the islands. On the way home we pull in at The Baths so you can climb through the boulders and swim the hidden pools. Your captain fills the miles in between with pirate history.

Best for: A relaxed day with a proper lunch, The Baths without the crowds.

Getting into The Baths means a swim of about 100 yards each way from the boat. If The Baths is red flagged or too rough, we go to another great spot instead. The route on the day can change with the weather and sea state. Your captain decides what is safe and fun.

Good to know

How long is this tour?
It runs seven to eight hours. Departure is a morning start, confirmed when you book, and we always allow for the weather and the sea. Getting into The Baths means a swim of about 100 yards each way from the boat. If The Baths is red flagged or too rough, we go to another great spot instead. The route on the day can change with the weather and sea state. Your captain decides what is safe and fun.
What does it cost, and is that per person?
$1,700 for the whole boat, up to 12 guests, all inclusive. The captain, fuel, permits, snorkel gear and the cooler are all in the price. The one thing not in the price is the national park fee at The Baths, $10 per guest, which you pay at the entrance. A deposit holds your date and the balance is paid on the day.
Who is this tour best for?
A relaxed day with a proper lunch, The Baths without the crowds. The whole boat is private to your group, so the day shapes itself around you.
Is lunch included?
No. We stop where the good food is, such as Pirates Bight on Norman Island, Saba Rock or the Bitter End in North Sound, or Foxy's on Jost Van Dyke, and you pay your own. Drinks on the boat are included.
Do we need to be strong swimmers?
Not to enjoy the day. Getting into The Baths means a swim of about 100 yards each way, so that one stop asks for confidence in the water. Float noodles and life jackets are on board, and nobody has to get in: plenty of guests stay aboard and enjoy the view.
Is gratuity included?
No. Gratuity is at your discretion, and 15 to 20% in cash is customary and much appreciated by the captain.
What if we have to cancel?
Cancel 14 or more days before your tour and you are refunded in full. Inside that, the deposit is kept. If something outside your control gets in the way, such as weather, a travel delay or a change to your ship's schedule, you are refunded in full.
